How will the weekend be? The German Weather Service expects temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius during the day. But the soil is still too dry in many places and the risk of forest fires has not been averted.

Offenbach – With a lot of blue skies, the heat of the past few days is now being followed by a pleasant summer weekend. This Saturday it will not be warmer than 27 degrees, on Sunday it will be a maximum of 29 degrees, as the German Weather Service (DWD) predicted on Friday in Offenbach.

At night, a maximum of 15 degrees offers the opportunity to air out, sometimes it can even get really chilly with 11 to 6 degrees. In addition, it is clear to cloudy and dry. According to the forecast, it will gradually get a little warmer every day until 26 to 31 degrees are reached on Tuesday.

According to the DWD, the showers and thunderstorms, which recently brought the longed-for cooling, are not enough to alleviate the severe drought and reduce the risk of forest fires. The rain fell only selectively and further precipitation is not to be expected for the time being, as announced by DWD meteorologist Robert Hausen. dpa
