He’s done it again: Markus Söder received a culinary gift and shared a snapshot of it on Instagram.
Munich – Söder* eats chocolate, Söder eats goulash soup, Söder eats in his favorite Turkish restaurant in Nuremberg.* Is Bavaria’s prime minister planning a career after a career? Food blogger instead of CSU boss? At least that’s what followers speculated after his Backfisch post from January.* “Second mainstay: food blogger” could be read, for example.
“Söder eats”: CSU boss posts chocolate gift from the United Arab Emirates
Söder’s most recent food post from February 18: chocolate. “Great gift from the climate minister of the United Arab Emirates: camel chocolate from Dubai… made from real camel milk,” said the 55-year-old, delighted with the gift at the Munich Security Conference. “Is that actually a fake account that only shows food?” asks a user. Only two days earlier, Söder had shown his lunch during the Prime Ministers’ Conference (MPK): “Spicy food” he titled the picture of a goulash soup.

Söder posts MPK-Essen: CSU colleague reacts
Even at the MPK a few weeks earlier, Söder did not leave his followers in the dark about his lunch: “Spinach is healthy and I like it a lot. Before the MPK, it’s a good refreshment,” he wrote for a photo of fried eggs with spinach. A colleague agreed: “To me too, refined with a little cream, a dream.”
Söder posts food photo from favorite restaurant: Prime Minister colleague enthusiastic
And only a week ago he showed his plate from his favorite Turkish restaurant in Nuremberg. “That looks delicious!” was also the opinion of Tobias Hans, colleague of the Prime Minister from Saarland. A follower writes with a laugh about the hashtag “Söder eats”: “I think it’s awesome!” (kam) *Merkur.de/bayern is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
