After a video shoot at Mannheim Central Station, the song “Michael Pendler” with Ikke Hipgold in the lead role is released. Read how the song was received here:

The band “Schlagerschaffner” will release their song “Michael Pendler” on Friday (September 2nd). In the video, which was shot at Mannheim Central Station, Ikke Hipgold plays the Wendler doppelganger who meets his great love on the platform. Comedian Bülent Ceylan also has a small role in it. However, the song doesn’t seem to be well received by many fans and there are even nasty comments.
MANNHEIM24 reports how the song “Michael Pendler” with Ikke Hipgold is received by the fans.

“Because he knows he has the most beautiful and the longest here on the track. Go with him, because he takes you to paradise. Because he is Michael Pendler, he drives to the same city every morning, on the track where he lost his heart,” says the chorus of the song, which can probably be understood as a dig at the musician and conspiracy theorist Michael Wendler.
