What Melania Trump was denied, Jill Biden receives: A cover story in the fashion magazine Vogue. It is portrayed as being extremely non-partisan.
New York – Jill Biden, as the wife of Joe Biden First Lady of the USA, is soon to continue a tradition of the US fashion magazine Vogue that was suspended in the White House during the time of Melania Trump: The doctorate teacher is on the cover of the August- Output to see. The magazine has already published several articles about Jill Biden online, including looking back at the Bidens’ election campaign before the 2020 US election. The cover story is entitled “A First Lady for All of Us”.
In contrast, Vogue, under editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who has been running the paper since 1998, was not a magazine for all presidential wives. The tradition of giving first ladies a place on the cover began long before her: Lou Henry Hoover, Eleanor Roosevelt, Mamie Eisenhower, Jacqueline Kennedy, Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, Betty Ford, Rosalynn Carter, Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush and Laura Bush were all on the cover, according to the New York Times; Hillary Clinton not only as First Lady, but also as a 2016 presidential candidate; and Michelle Obama three times during her term from 2008 to 2016. So now Jill Biden.

Cover story about Jill Biden in Vogue: Reviving a tradition
After the election of Donald Trump, tradition broke. It is not now the moment not to take a position, Wintour announced in 2019, when a year after the Trumps moved into the White House there was still no cover story about Trump’s wife Melania Trump. It should stay that way until Trump’s defeat in the US election on November 3, 2020. At the time, Melania Trump let a press officer know that she did not define herself by a place on the cover of this magazine.
After Melania Trump was left out: First Lady Jill Biden on the cover of Vogue
As a first lady, Jill Biden is something of a secret government weapon, according to the New York Times, according to her employees. Your appearances outside of Washington’s political bubble would make the politics of your husband and Vice President Kamala Harris known, especially in republican areas. Melania Trump, on the other hand, does not get to feel much of this non-partisanship, the relationship between her and her successor has never developed beyond the exchange of cool formalities. She herself has a share in this as well. At the G7 summit in Cornwall in mid-June, however, Jill Biden made a name for itself with a jacket whose print some interpreted as a subtle swipe at Melania.
