The company announces three actions to generate employment
The company announced on Thursday three programs to contribute to the national situation by generating employment, fighting climate change and improving the quality of life of vulnerable and poor families in Colombia.
1. “Business alliance for the reactivation of employment”. With the support of Comfama, Proantioquia and other companies, Grupo Argos will train 6,000 young people and women and will focus efforts to achieve the employability of 2,000 people. The program will have an initial investment of $ 16,000 million.
2. “Sembrando Futuro” plants a million trees per year in addition to the eight million that the company has already planted in Colombia. “We will plant a million trees annually in Colombia from 2021. 3. “Healthy Environments” program to improve housing and quality of life for more than 5,000 people in the country. “We will continue to dignify the living environments of our neighboring communities in Antioquia, Valle, Sucre, Bolívar and Atlántico, replacing dirt floors with concrete floors and developing healthy environments with kitchens and bathrooms.”
