Los Angeles – Britney Spears wants her father’s guardianship to be suspended. This is necessary for the US pop singer in order to be able to draw up a marriage contract with her fiancé Sam Asghari.
The 39-year-old is currently in the process of hiring a lawyer to draft such a marriage contract, according to an application submitted to the court in Los Angeles (USA). However, this would require the consent of Jamie Spears, her father.

The next court date is set for September 29, 2021. Here the guardianship of Jamie Spears is to be “suspended”. Before the entire judicial guardianship is lifted, a temporary guardian should be installed in place of the father. Each additional day of Jamie Spear’s guardianship means “another day of pain and suffering for his daughter,” the motion said.
Since Ms. Spears ‘relationship with her guardian has broken down, further involvement from Mr. Spears would impede the ability to negotiate and complete a contract that everyone agrees is in Ms. Spears’ best interests.

Born in Iran, he is 12 years younger than Britney Spears and works as a personal trainer. Britney Spears has been married twice. The first marriage to Jason Alexander in 2004 lasted only 55 hours. She later married the rapper Kevin Federline. This marriage resulted in two children.
Britney Spears: Jamie has been the guardian of his daughter since 2008
The singer has been in litigation with her father since last year. He has been the guardian of the Pop Princess since 2008. At the time, Britney had been forcibly admitted to a mental hospital. The guardianship since then also gives the father control over their property.
