In September 2022, gas consumption in Hamburg fell by more than 30 percent compared to 2021 and 2020. At least that is the result of the evaluation of customer data from the Hamburg gas network. Spokesman Lars Häger Bäumer explained that private customers in particular are becoming more aware of their consumption.
