Although it is still common to find ourselves in computer stores with a wide variety of desktop computers with HDD hard drives , it is true that the number of brands that rely on the inclusion of an SSD drive is increasing, not only because of its smaller size and weight, but because it provides dramatically faster transfer and write speeds.
In fact, as many experts and also those users who have ventured to make the change (including myself) agree to point out, there is nothing better than replacing a conventional hard drive when a computer starts to run a little slower due to an SSD drive, to revive it to the point of giving the feeling of being almost new.
While SSDs can be quite superior in terms of data transfer and writing speeds, this does not mean that we should underestimate traditional hard drives. On the contrary, at least for the moment, HDDs are still the kings of storage, as they continue to have much higher capacities, especially when compared to the larger SSDs.
But if we want to do it well, it is true that choosing one or the other is not easy, since some important aspects must be taken into account, not only the price that we can or want to spend, but the use that we are going to give it, about all to discover if it is really worth the investment or not.
This is because, as we will see, solid state drives are characterized by being much more expensive due to smaller storage capacities, but there is no doubt that, when it comes to speed, we will win.
