"He eats you": giant hangover amazes the Internet

Two years ago, Yulia Minina could not resist the bright brown eyes of Kater Kefir. Now he weighs twelve kilos and is still not fully grown.

Stary Oskol – If you see little baby cats padding around with their fluffy paws, you’ll get a smile on your face within a few seconds. That’s what happened to Russian Yulia Minina when she saw her five-month-old kefir. Bright blue eyes and snow white. Kefir is a Maine Coon cat. However, his mistress did not expect that he would change so much within just under two years – because kefir now weighs twelve kilograms.

Kater Kefir weighs twelve kilograms – and becomes an absolute internet star: “That’s a big cat!”

The Russian regularly posts pictures and videos on her Instagram page and shows her followers what everyday life is like with a twelve-kilo hangover. Meanwhile, kefir already has a lot of fans. The Instagram account already has over 45,000 followers. “That’s a big cat! Are you sure that kefir can continue to live in an apartment?” jokes one user. Another jokingly notes, “He eats you.”

Maine Coon cats are among the largest cats in the world and can reach enormous sizes. Its owner Yulia Minina was aware of this, but the kefir degenerates like this – rather unlikely. To this day, he is still not fully grown at twelve kilos. Maine Coon cats can develop up to the age of four. What has also changed in recent months: his eye color. From bright light blue to brown. “A gentle creature in the body of an impressive beast,” the Russian comments on her contribution, which features her and Kefir. She herself can’t quite deal with the hype about herself and of course about kefir: “I would like to thank everyone of you who follows me here on Instagram and made us famous from one morning to the next,” says Yulia Minina.

Maine Coon cat weighs twelve kilos: Kater Kefir is often mistaken for a dog

Fans of kefir comment on every post made on the social media platform: “I have to stare at kefir all the time, I can’t believe he’s actually a cat! Aren’t you afraid of him? “Asks a follower. No, Yulia Minina is not afraid of her own cat. Just her visit. She said on Instagram that some of her visitors are scared of kefir and mistake it for a dog. But what does a hangover eat in a day? “Not normal cat food,” laughs the owner. He prefers to eat meat. However, as can be seen on the social media platform, kefir is already advertising for various animal feed manufacturers. Her owner is proud of her hangover: “Every day we get more and more fans on Instagram, it’s a good but also really crazy time!”. How big will kefir get? She will most likely not withhold that from her followers on Instagram.
