Queen’s funeral: large parts of the process are certain

Roughly speaking, the procedure for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II is already certain: the coffin of the deceased monarch is to be pulled through the streets of London in a carriage in the morning. The members of the British royal family should accompany them. The funeral service will then take place in Westminister Abbey with a service. The Queen will then be buried. The grave will be next to the Queen’s late husband, Prince Philip, and the Queen’s father, King George VI, according to consistent media reports. The location of this is therefore St. George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Numerous details of the funeral service, the service and the burial are still unknown. However, Buckingham Palace and the Royal Family reserve the right not to comment in more detail.
