'Homo curiosus experiences', the best way to experience science

What are the scientific and technological challenges of the future? Science is exciting and, therefore, its ability to convene is immense, both in adults and children. Homo curiosus , the most important outreach event of the year, brought together more than 5,000 people in Bilbao last Saturday, December 14.

Between ten in the morning and eight in the afternoon, thousands of people visited the Euskalduna Palace to delight in the lectures of 20 leading disseminating experts , and to enjoy and have fun with a dozen immersive experiences related to science and technology. Attendees were able to direct drones, explore the universe, taste the food of the future or step into a world of optical illusions; and even become a scientist for a day and carry out science experiments.

Homo Curiosus is an original idea of the television channel Odisea y MUY INTERESANTE, the most widely used multi-channel scientific dissemination medium in the Spanish language, which has had the support of the BBK Foundation, the Bilbao City Council, the Provincial Council for this first edition from Bizkaia and Orange.
