How do bees produce honey?

Bees are amazing insects that are present all over the planet. It is estimated that there may be more than 20,000 different species, but the curious thing is that only seven of the species are capable of producing honey.This honey has great qualities for human life and constitutes a great source of energy for man, in addition to being fast and healthy. These bees are capable of creating one of the most natural and healthy foods on the planet. This is how honey is made To make honey, bees are organized into family groups. These groups are mainly composed of three members: Queen bee: each hive has only one queen bee. Its main objective is to lay eggs so that the worker bees that are in charge of working the hive to produce honey are born. Workers: they are in charge of working the hive. When they are born they do different tasks until the moment of their death: they make wax, clean, take care of the hive, and most importantly, they are the ones that go from flower to flower looking for nectar that they will then take to the hive to produce honey. Drones: finally there are the so-called drones that are the ones that fertilize the queen. The queen deposits an egg in each cell, if it is fertilized it will give a worker bee, if on the contrary no one fertilizes it, a drone will be born. With this, as we say, the worker bees are in charge of looking for the nectar of the flowers to transport it to the hive. These same workers extract pollen and break it down into simpler compounds creating glucose, fructose, amino acids, and minerals.The final solution created by the worker bees is deposited in each of the cells of the hives and they themselves manage to dehydrate it thanks to the flapping of their wings to give an optimal temperature. When 80% of the water is eliminated the process of creating honey would be finished. The worker bees themselves close the cells of the hive so that they are preserved with total guarantee. What is honey used for? It is a natural food that can have different colors and flavors. This depends on how old the honey is in the hive. Its composition is a mixture of fructose, sucrose, sugars and maltose, as well as special enzymes produced by bees themselves. Its uses range from medical use for throat diseases such as pharyngitis, to moistening bakery items. In addition, it is usually a great ally in the kitchen for many recipes where honey usually provides a great flavor.
