If you have an iPhone or an iPad it is quite possible that you already know that, a few years ago, Apple decided to launch its own wireless headphones on the market, in order to provide its users with quality headphones, useful to use simply and simple without cables.
They were baptized with the name of AirPods , and although at that time (2016) the launch surprised many users, since 2019 we have known as AirPods 2 , a second updated version and with a series of very interesting added functions.
One of the main advantages has to do with pairing , which does not take more than three seconds, literally. In fact, all you have to do is open the charging case, wait for the message that will appear on the phone screen, click on Connect and that’s it.
Once this is done we will not have to worry about doing it again. What’s more, it is not necessary to carry it out on the rest of the Apple devices in which we use the same iCloud account, so the process is simplified to the maximum.
But, in what way can we proceed to charge the AirPods once the system warns us that they have little battery life left?
Charging the AirPods or AirPods Pro for the first time
The truth is that to charge our AirPods, it is as simple as placing them in the case . According to Apple, a fully charged case will provide the headphones with more than 24 hours of continuous listening time, or up to 11 hours of talk time.
Of course, in the case of the AirPods Pro, it supposes more than 18 hours of talk time, which is a little more than the basic version.
On the other hand, if we proceed to charge the AirPods for just 15 minutes in the case, we will enjoy up to 3 hours of listening time , or more than an hour of talk time.
However, in the case of AirPods Pro, with just 5 minutes of charging we can enjoy an hour of listening time or an hour of talk time.
In case our case is not wireless, we need to plug in the Lightning cable that comes in the box, specifically in the compatible connector that we will find located at the bottom of the case.
Charging AirPods with a wireless charging case
Did you know that second-generation AirPods and AirPods Pro can be wirelessly charged with almost any Qi-compatible charging stand or dock?
To charge, we just have to place the case of our headphones on top of the charger, with the status light on the front of the case facing up. At the same time, we can proceed to charge the case with the headphones inside (or not).
We must note that, while it continues to charge, the status light should come on for several seconds, and then go off. In case this does not happen, it is advisable to reposition the case again.
