Email has become an indispensable tool for many people. And not just for work reasons. It is also tremendously useful for those who use it personally, either to contact family and friends, or as a means to receive newsletters and other digital communications.
And it is true that the electronic mail sector has evolved a lot since hundreds of thousands of users began to use mail services every day that were known and enjoyed a certain popularity at the time, as is the case of Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail or Lycos.
Gone is the time when setting up an email account to receive new emails on your mobile phone could end up becoming a real headache. Those moments in which we had to manually enter all the necessary parameters for the configuration of the system, such as POP or SMPT access, among others.
A good example is found in iPhone and specifically in its iOS operating system, which within the Add account functionality offers us the possibility of adding our email account in a few seconds, simply by adding our username (or the full email address ) and the password.
But we must bear in mind something fundamental: this option is only valid for iCloud, Microsoft Exchange, Google (Gmail), Yahoo !, Aol and Outlook. However, this application offers us the possibility of adding any other different email account, although this time it will be necessary to complete the entire process manually.
Setting up an email account on our iPhone easily
The truth is that today it is appreciated that both iOS and Android have different options to add an email account to our smartphone (smartphone) in a not only simple or simple way, but especially quickly. In this way, we save time and effort. And what is even better: we avoided the frustration that trying to set up an email account on our mobile phone caused years ago, and it became an impossible task.
If you have an iPhone , adding a new email account is pretty simple. You just have to go to Settings , click on Passwords and accounts and then click on Add account (just inside the Accounts submenu). It is very likely that when you start the device for the first time you have already set up a first iCloud account, so it is normal for your information to be displayed in this section, always first.
Once we have clicked on the necessary button to add our email account, a new window will open with the official logos of each of the preconfigured email services in the system. In this way, we can quickly identify the service that interests us. When we have found it, click on it and a window will immediately open to log into the system we have chosen.
We only have to enter our username, email or mobile phone (depending on what the system specifically requests), the password, and follow the instructions.
