The 9-euro ticket expires at the end of August. The Hamburger Verkehrsverbund HVV has therefore come up with something and is giving away 9-euro ticket annual subscriptions.
Hamburg – The 9-euro ticket was one of numerous measures from the 2022 relief package. However, the cheap monthly ticket can be purchased for the last time in August, after which regular tickets must be purchased again. A cheaper successor to the 9-euro ticket is still being discussed, but no nationwide alternative has yet been decided. But there is good news for the people of Hamburg. Because the HVV is giving away 999 annual subscriptions for just nine euros a month.

The HVV has also officially presented a successor to the 9-euro ticket. The professional ticket is available for 36 euros per month – but only for new customers.
