It was in June of last year (2020) when Apple presented what, at least for the moment, has become the latest version of its iOS operating system, designed specifically for the iPad or iPhone, known as iOS 14 . In fact, it has become one of the largest iOS updates to date , introducing a wide variety of changes.
Its download is really simple and simple, so that it is only necessary to access the Software Update section (from Settings and General), as long as we have a compatible device, starting with an iPhone 6S, including the iPhone SE of 2016 , or from an iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4, or fifth-generation iPad.
In this way, in case our device is compatible, and the download is available, we simply have to click on the Update button and wait for the download to complete. Due, of course, to the changes it involves, the download may take a little longer than usual. However, it is perfectly possible to continue doing other things while the download is complete.
Once downloaded, we can proceed with its immediate installation, or leave it pending for automatic installation, for example, at night.
