Today the iPod Touch is not at all like the original iPod that the Apple company officially presented in November 2001, which was characterized, it is true, for not having the largest storage capacity or the greatest number of functions, but It did stand out for some interesting aspects: it had a truly simple user interface, and its design was as excellent as it was polished (aspects that we find in most of the products designed by the company).
Some years later, and after the launch of different versions as an update, in September 2007 the iPod Classic arrived, with an even greater storage capacity (it started at 80 GB), a longer battery life ( 30 to 40 hours), a cheaper price and what was even better: an even more beautiful and careful design, to the point that many users still continue to use it.
However, after the debut of the iPod Classic, and, above all, after the launch of the iPhone (christened the iPhone 3G), it was the turn of the first iPod Touch , with the intention of bringing to the device some of the best characteristics of the mobile phone, to the point that its first users indicated that they had in their hands a real iPhone, but without the typical functions of the phone.
In fact, it didn’t just appear with the same basic design. It also featured a large touch screen and Internet connection via Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as various unique features such as music and video playback, CoverFlow content viewing, and the ability to purchase music through the iTunes Store.
Now, at least so far (and without any update forecasts), we can buy the Seventh Generation iPod Touch in stores, which will be available in a few weeks. In fact, it comes with a design almost identical to the iPhone 7, as well as a series of extremely interesting technical features.
