Tea , a simple glass of wine, apple juice and the popular raisin stalks can, according to different studies, stimulate our memory. Even soft drinks have recently been revealed as allies of good memory.
According to Leigh Riby of the University of Glasgow Caledonian in Scotland, consuming one or two cans of carbonated drink can improve the ability to retain information by up to 20 percent . The key, he says, is in its glucose content. "I encourage all my students to have an energy drink before class, because it helps them learn more," confesses Riby.
And it is that according to a study carried out at the University of Barcelona with more than 70 subjects,
the combined intake of glucose and caffeine together can benefit subjects' attention, verbal memory, and learning.
