Israel: Clashes spread through the streets amid escalating violence

Clashes between the Jewish population and Arab citizens in the mixed cities of Israel are increasing worryingly during the day on Wednesday, in a new night of tension in the Middle East within the climate of pre-war escalation between Israel and the areas dominated by the group Hamas terrorist and jihadists in the Gaza Strip. These clashes in the streets began on Tuesday night, in the town of Lod, south of Tel Aviv. There, where the Ben Gurion International Airport is located, there is a population of 40,000 people, including Hebrew citizens with Palestinian Arabs. At night, and after 130 missiles fell on Tel Aviv, clashes and attacks began among the population in the streets. The authorities were forced to declare a state of emergency for the first time in decades. But this Wednesday, the raw images of confrontations have been repeated. In Lod, again, as a nerve center, but also in other towns in the country such as Haifa. This Wednesday, hundreds of missiles were fired again from Gaza bound for different areas of Israel, this time through the center of the country. In principle, no new launches have been reported over Tel Aviv where, of course, the emergency sirens sounded throughout the city at 8 p.m. Scenes of great harshness have been seen throughout the country, like that of a vehicle trying to run over Hebrew citizens in Haifa, or a mob of local far-right citizens trying to get a Palestinian out of a car to beat him up. According to the police authorities, the protesters in the streets refused to follow his instructions. This Wednesday a new death was registered in Israel, a victim of missile launches from Gaza, a five-year-old boy in whose house a rocket fell. Another seven wounded have been registered in the town of Sderot, while in Ashkelon another 20 affected. Since this Monday, some 1,200 rockets have been launched from the Gaza Strip and the Israeli Army has intercepted between 85 and 90 percent of these. In recent hours, Israel’s security cabinet has planned to intensify its military operations against the Gaza Strip and the army will target Hamas symbols in the territory, local media have reported.
