Kate & William share new Christmas photo: festive greetings in shorts

Duchess Kate and Prince William have released a new family photo that will grace their Christmas card this year. The motif is surprising, however.

London – Prince William (39) and his wife Duchess Kate (39) publish a new family photo of themselves and their three children every December, which serves as a motif for their Christmas card. This tradition will be continued in 2021 – albeit with a little Christmassy reception of the Cambridges.

In the British royal family, preparations for Christmas are in full swing. Queen Elizabeth II (95) at Windsor Castle already has a festively decorated, seven-meter-high spruce that easily overshadows most of the other Christmas trees. The regent, however, will not spend the holidays in Berkshire, but traditionally at Sandringham. Prince William and Duchess Kate visit the Queen there with their three children George (8), Charlotte (6) and Louis (3). The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge even want to celebrate three Christmas parties with their offspring this year – first with five in private, then with Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royals and finally with the Middletons. To get in the mood for the festive season, William and Kate have already unveiled the motif of this year’s Christmas card. However, you will look in vain for snow, a Christmas tree or Christmas decorations on the picture. * 24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
