USA – There is hardly anyone in Germany who has never heard of the Christmas classic “Kevin – Alone at Home”. It’s about eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin), who lives with his family in the suburbs of Chicago and is forgotten at home for Christmas. Then the chaos begins: Two burglars try to gain access to the house, Kevin has to defend it against them.
In the follow-up film “Kevin – Alone in New York”, Kevin’s parents lose sight of him at the airport when they leave for Florida. Kevin mistakenly ends up alone on a plane to New York City, where he is up to mischief.
