Los Angeles – The sequel to the star-studded crime comedy “Knives Out” starring Daniel Craig as a private investigator can be seen on Netflix this Christmas. Director Rian Johnson now moves the crime scene from a country house in the US state of Massachusetts to a Greek island. A tech billionaire (Edward Norton) has invited his best friends over there when a murder suddenly occurs. In addition to Craig and Norton, the cast includes Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista. Johnson said he took the title “Glass Onion” from a 1968 Beatles song.
Johnson shot “Knives Out” with a star cast of Craig, Christopher Plummer, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson and Ana de Armas in the style of an Agatha Christie crime thriller in 2019 for an inexpensive $ 40 million in the US state of Massachusetts. The film grossed more than $311 million worldwide. dpa
