Summer is coming back again: on Monday there will be temperatures above 20 degrees throughout Germany.
Offenbach – Feel like summer again: With up to 26 degrees and sun, this is best done between the Upper Rhine and Central Germany at the beginning of the week. Already this Sunday it can be 25 degrees in southern Germany, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday in Offenbach.
Otherwise it is still unstable and cooler. It is raining in a strip from Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate to Saxony, north of it it is overcast and does not get warmer than a maximum of 20 degrees.
On Monday, all of Germany – with the exception of the extreme north – can look forward to values above 20 degrees. In addition, it is mostly dry at first and the sun comes out. It only rains on the Frisian coast. In the course of the day, heavy showers and thunderstorms will move in from the northwest, which will also reach the south and east by Tuesday.
Summer values in October occur again and again. The monthly records for Germany are more than 30 degrees, as DWD meteorologist Felix Dietzsch announced. In the middle of the week, however, it also cools down significantly. A new high will bring “a return to calmer fall weather at seasonally average temperature levels with early sun and fog.” dpa
