Lufthansa resumes direct flights to Iran after a body was found

On Thursday, maintenance workers found a dead man in the landing gear bay of an Airbus A340 coming from Tehran. The group then canceled several flights to Iran.

Frankfurt/Tehran – After a body was found in the landing gear bay of an Airbus jet, the Lufthansa Group resumed its direct flights to Tehran on Saturday. LH600 started from Frankfurt in the afternoon for the Iranian capital, as the company announced on request. The flights would continue “after thorough evaluation with internal experts and authorities”.
