Lufthansa and the trade union ver.di have not yet been able to agree on a new collective agreement for the approximately 20,000 ground staff. The fronts have hardened, a warning strike is now supposed to get things moving in the negotiations – and that so shortly before the start of the summer holidays in Baden-Württemberg. On Wednesday “there will be major flight cancellations and delays,” says a statement.
