Man wants to sue for a pension – because he is allegedly 102 years old

“I'm 102 years old!” Claims a 48-year-old administrative clerk – and sued the German pension insurance for payment of his pension.

Celle – A man from Lower Saxony went to court and caused a sensation with a spectacular trial: The employee, who was born in 1919 according to his own statements, demanded the retroactive and future payment of his pension in an insane lawsuit because he was more than twice his age, than recorded in the insurance data.

As evidence, the Lower Saxony even submitted an affidavit and an apparently self-made birth certificate to the court at the hearing at the Lower Saxony-Bremen Regional Social Court, based in Celle, last Friday.
As reported by Kreiszeitung.de *, the judge gave a clear judgment on the man's request for an age report from the Hamburg University Hospital Eppendorf and a retroactive old-age pension.
