According to the autopsy performed on the body of the 23-year-old, it showed that the artist had 13 fractures , as well as a hemorrhage in the head, a perforation in the lung and a ruptured liver. The cause of death is described as a traumatic brain injury, caused by forceful action.

After his fall, he also suffered injuries to his nose, jaw and ten ribs on the left side. Contusions to both armpits and thighs were also determined. According to several witnesses, the fall occurred when Kevin tried to jump from the balcony to the room below in fear of being discovered by his wife Deolane Bezerra, since in the hotel room he would be consuming alcohol, psychoactive substances and sexual relations with the model Bianca Domínguez and her friend Victor Elias Fontenelle.

His friend assured that the singer had no intention of committing suicide, but on the contrary, he would have been trying to hide out of fear of being discovered by his wife.
