Pleasant 20 to 26 degrees, plus lots of sun – according to the German Weather Service (DWD), Germany is facing an unusually mild Sunday.
Offenbach – The golden October shows itself from its most beautiful side this weekend with almost summer temperatures and plenty of sun. The finale of October, which has been very mild so far, follows on Sunday. The weather is so crazy that even an expert is surprised. According to the DWD, there will be perfect weather for excursions again – everyone who can should use it again. Because with October, the late summer weather will say goodbye in the coming week. “From Tuesday, the weather will slowly change,” said a DWD meteorologist on Saturday (October 29) in Offenbach. The result: November starts with clouds, rain and temperatures below 20 degrees, especially in the north and west.
Until then, October will show itself from its best side. “Sunday lives up to its name,” said the meteorologist. “After the dissolution of the sometimes tough fog fields, the sun plays the first violin in the weather orchestra and lets the autumn leaves appear in a golden light.” With maximum values between 20 and 26 degrees, the weather is perfect for excursions and beer gardens. Accordingly, clouds only cloud the view of the blue sky in the coastal area.
- Temperatures in the coming days in Germany:
- Sunday: 20 to 26 degrees
- Monday: 15 to 20 degrees
- Tuesday: 12 to 17 degrees
- Wednesday: 9 to 13 degrees
Weather: With the turn of the month it is slowly getting cooler
On Monday the temperatures will drop a bit: The maximum values are north of the low mountain ranges at 15 to 20 degrees, further south at 18 to 24 degrees. Where the fog does not clear, only 15 degrees are reached. For comparison: On Friday the thermometer in Müllheim in Baden-Württemberg showed a summery 28.7 degrees – making the city in Markgräflerland the leader in Germany that day. Even if November starts a bit cooler, according to the DWD it is still too mild for the time of year. (you with dpa)
