Meghan Markle admits “the sin of youth”. Her latest Spotify episode “Breaking Down ‘The Bimbo'” with Paris Hilton is about the “dumb blonde” cliché – and her wishes for daughter Lili.

MONTECITO – In her latest Spotify episode entitled “Breaking Down ‘The Bimbo'”, Meghan Markle (41) deals with the clichés “Bimbo” and “dumb blonde”. She had brought two blondes on board: model, businesswoman and hotel heiress Paris Hilton (41) and comedian Iliza Shlesinger (39). In an emotional exchange, according to thesun , Meghan reported on her time as a showgirl in the US version of the popular game show “Deal Or No Deal” and also expressed her heartfelt wishes for her one-year-old daughter with Prince Harry (38) Lilibeth Diana.

Meghan Markle presented the suitcase with the number 24 on “Deal Or No Deal”.

She wishes her daughter to aim higher. “Yes, I want my Lili to be educated and smart and to be proud of those things,” Meghan said. In this context, she reports on her job as a showgirl, where she and other women presented suitcases that the players on the show could choose from. The Duchess revealed she was told to “pull it up” by a woman who hosted the game show in 2006.”

She would have felt “as an object,” reports the mother of two in the Archetypes podcast. She explains, “Before the show started, we girls lined up and there were different stations where you could get your eyelashes put on or extensions put in, or padding in the bras. ” Spray tan coupons because it gave a very specific idea of what we should look like. It was all about beauty and not necessarily about brains.”

“When I hear the word ‘Bimbo’ I have a very negative connotation with it”

Nevertheless, she was grateful for the job. She likens the bad feeling of that experience to any kind of reduction. “That’s how it felt for me at the time to be reduced to this specific archetype, the word ‘Bimbo’,” Meghan exchanges with her fellow campaigners, who are haunted by the blonde cliché. “By the way, I was surrounded by smart women who shared the stage with me, but that wasn’t why we were there and I ended up leaving with a hole in my stomach.”

In her latest podcast, Meghan accused Hollywood blockbusters of stereotyping Asian women as “sexy but toxic”. Meanwhile, a remarkable range of stars has arrived at Meghan Markle’s Spotify podcast. The Duchess of Sussex’s previous guests include Constance Wu, 42, Serena Williams, 41, Mariah Carey, 52, Mindy Kaling, 43, Margaret Cho, 53, and Lisa Ling, 49. Sources used: thesun.co.uk, people.com
