Meghan Markle reveals: That's what she and Prince Harry do when the kids are in bed

The Queen’s death changed everything. Just eight days earlier, Meghan had been working on a glitzy cover shoot and explosive interview for Variety magazine. In it, she now reveals what she and Prince Harry do when the kids are in bed.

Montecito – Meghan Markle (41) gives a lot of private insights into her life with Prince Harry (38) and their two children Archie (3) and Lilibeth (1) in St. Barbara in California. Because of course the Sussexes also have a private life, which they expressly decided to do when they left the crown at the beginning of 2020. For example, the Duchess reveals that she and Harry go to In-N-Out for a drive-thru burger and love giant chocolate chip cookies.

Normality between glittering world and kindergarten stories

But her usual daily routine consists of getting the kids ready before they often have Zoom meetings with people from all over the world. When the two little ones are back home, the program shouldn’t differ much from what every family does until the evening routine starts and the eyes of the cute mini royals close after a hard day.

Then it gets exciting. What do the two dropout royals do afterwards? While Harry’s brother Prince William (40) apparently likes to mix a cocktail for his wife Kate (40), the Sussexes apparently take out the iPads and laptops instead of the ice cubes. If there’s nothing else to do, Meghan Markle describes her cozy evening routine, according to Dailymail , consisting of “Wordle, Duo Lingo and an ‘endless search’ on Netflix when the kids are in bed,” reveals the former actress to Variety in an interview.

It is still unclear when exactly the prince found out about his grandmother’s death, and Meghan’s wife cannot clarify that either. But she says it was a difficult time, and reflects on the days and weeks that followed: “It was a difficult time, but my husband, who was always an optimist, said, ‘Now she [the Queen] is back with her man united'”.

The Duchess of Sussex apparently wants to improve her language skills

She also loves Scrabble and making a “mean bolognese sauce” . As well as her cooking ambitions, the Duchess of Sussex also shared a glimpse of the family’s domestic bliss, revealing that her three-year-old son Archie has ‘loved the British children’s show Octonauts for a very long time’ – presumably he started it when he was still living in the UK, before his parents decided to move to Montecito, California.

The Duchess of Sussex had agreed to “sit back down” after the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (96, † 2022) because the glittering photo shoot and a lively video chat took place eight days before her death and after her death Prince Harry’s grandmother seemed inappropriate to be celebrated as an icon. In the now published interview, she praised the late Queen’s “warmth” and “leadership”. Sources used: dailymail.co.uk, Instagram @variety
