Mirco Nontschew is dead – Saturday night star dies at the age of 52

Actor and comedian Mirco Nontschew has died at the age of 52.

Cologne – Comedian Mirco Nontschew is dead. He died last week at the age of only 52. Nontschew was best known for his appearances in the 1990s on the RTL show “Saturday Night”. Initially, the picture had reported about the death.

Manager Bertram Riedel had confirmed the death of Mirco Nontschew and asked for consideration for the family of the deceased. The actor leaves two daughters. There are different reports about the time of death. While the Bild writes that Nontschew died last week, the Berliner Zeitung (BZ) quotes a police spokesman who in turn reports that “a 52-year-old was found dead yesterday afternoon”. Initially, nothing was known about the cause of death.

Mirco Nontschew was born in East Berlin in 1969. He had his first television appearance in 1993. Above all, the ability to imitate numerous very different noises with his voice earned him fame. “RTL Saturday Night” ran until 1998. After that, Nontschew received its own program on RTL called “Mircomania”. He has also appeared in several movies, including “7 Dwarfs – The Forest Is Not Enough” and “Otto’s Eleven”.
