Update from May 14, 2021: In mid-August, 15-year-old Hatice disappeared from a youth center in Munich. In December the police then decided to do a public manhunt to look for the young girl. Then the success message – five months later. The 15-year-old returned safely on May 11th. The police did not comment on where the girl was.

Munich – A 15-year-old from Munich has been missing since mid-August 2020. She was housed in a youth center in Munich and was last seen in Munich on Friday, August 14th, 2020.
Young people missing in Munich – last seen in mid-August – police have notice
Intensive investigations by the Munich criminal police have so far not led to any specific whereabouts of the 15-year-old. However, there are indications that she could be in Lower Saxony. Due to the overall circumstances, a public manhunt is now being initiated by the police in consultation with the city youth welfare office.
Now the police are looking for the 15-year-old girl with two pictures and a detailed description of the person. For the time being, the police do not provide any further information about the background or what exactly the “overall circumstances” are.
