A motorcyclist is fatally injured in a serious accident in Büdingen (Wetteraukreis). The public prosecutor intervenes.
Büdingen – On Saturday (04.09.2021) there was a tragic traffic accident on a country road in Büdingen (Wetteraukreis, Hesse). A man was killed in the process. This was announced by the Central Hesse police headquarters.
According to this, a 29-year-old driver drove around 3:20 p.m. on the 3010 road from Büdingen in the direction of Rinderbügen. At the level of the Büdinger swimming pool, she wanted to turn left into the parking lot. At the same time, a 54-year-old motorcyclist met her. According to the police, the woman overlooked the motorcyclist – the accident occurred.
Accident in Büdingen (Wetterau): helicopter brings man to hospital
The 54-year-old crashed into the passenger side of the car with his motorcycle. It was said that he suffered serious injuries. A rescue helicopter was called to the scene of the accident in Büdingen. He flew the seriously injured man to a nearby hospital. But any help came too late: a short time later, the man died in the shock room of the clinic.
The police recorded the accident on the L3010. For this, the affected route was completely closed for about three hours. According to an initial estimate, the material damage amounts to just under 26,000 euros. The public prosecutor’s office has hired an expert to investigate the accident in Büdingen in the Wetterau district.
