At the beginning of the trial on the same day, he testified that he had bought cocaine “at least a hundred times” from a dealer who also regularly supplied other Munich police officers. The 35-year-old stated that he had slipped into alcohol and drug addiction because of psychological stress. This also included a deployment in the attack in the Olympia shopping center in the summer of 2016.
