After practically a year has passed since the official launch of the iPhone 11 (something that happened on September 12, 2019, being available for physical purchase in the different Apple Stores from the 20 of the same month), it was to be expected that Manzana sooner or later present a new and renewed version. And the truth is that, on this occasion, we are not only faced with a new device, but specifically with a whole revolution not only in terms of sizes, or colors, but even in terms of design.
And, finally, the long-awaited iPhone 12 is official, being presented jointly with the new standard iPhone 12 (to name it in some way), iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, during the celebration of a virtual event that the company of the bitten apple has carried out just a few days ago.
Apple has indicated that the entire line of new iPhone devices will be ready for the revolutionary new 5G connectivity . And they stand out from the beginning for their new design , which in turn includes new and renewed colors and an interesting variety of different changes in the camera that we find located at the back of the terminal . In addition, as is logical to imagine, other useful functions.
Design and screen of the new iPhone 12
The new iPhone 12 has a screen size of 6.1 “, with the traditional notch (notch) that we find located at the top of it, although some media would confirm that it would be a slightly smaller notch.
In any case, if you were passionate about the design of older iPhones, you’re in luck. And it is that Apple has thought to recover a design that almost reminds more of the iPhone 5S than the previous iPhone 11, by coming with an edge that continues to be curved, but with a completely flat side, maintaining only the typical curvature of the corners. That is to say, it would be a practically traced design that we can distinguish in the last generation iPads Pro.
And it also has other cool features. For example, compared to the iPhone 11, the new device is 15% smaller, 11% thinner and 16% lighter, with dimensions of 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.4 mm and a weight of 162 grams.
The 6.1-inch OLED screen stands out mainly for being Super Retina XDR , with a maximum brightness of 1200 nits, which indicates that it is a much brighter screen, compared to previous models, and twice as many pixels as the previous one. model.
It also continues to be IP68 water and dust resistant. In relation to the buttons, it has the traditional buttons for volume control, which we find located on the left side of the phone, the mute switch just above them, and the power button, which is still on the right side. .
Main technical specifications of the iPhone 12
The new iPhone 12 incorporates the A14 Bionic chipset, a chipset that, for example, has already been confirmed for the iPad Air 4, which stands out mainly for being one of the world’s first 5nm chipsets. According to the company, it will be almost 40 to 50% more powerful than the A13 chipset that we find in the iPhone 11 family.
As for the iPhone 12 camera, it incorporates a double rear camera. It incorporates, for example, the new Smart HDR3 technology, to help the user capture snapshots with enhanced colors and contrast.
While the Pro and Pro Max versions are capable of recording HDR video with Dolby Vision, and have a LiDAR radar, which would improve experiences in augmented reality.
The Pro devices feature a ƒ / 1.6 wide-angle camera, a 120-degree ultra-wide angle and a telephoto lens with 4 optical zoom, while the Pro Max version also has a 5X optical zoom, with improvements with time-lapse shooting. longer and in Night mode.
And the battery of the iPhone 12? How is?

As we have mentioned, this time Apple has decided to launch a total of 4 different models of its new and renovated iPhone 12. The standard, for example, has a 6.1-inch screen, while the iPhone Mini has 5.4 inches . The iPhone Pro will also have a 6.1-inch screen, and that of the iPhone Pro Max 12 will reach 6.7 inches.
