There is an official warning from the German Weather Service for gusts, some of which can reach hurricane-like proportions. The south and east of the Free State are particularly badly affected. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are also possible.

A cold front passage in southern Bavaria temporarily brings heavy gusts of wind up to 100 kilometers per hour, sometimes also hurricane-like gusts of around 110 kilometers per hour. These are sometimes accompanied by severe thunderstorms. Hurricane gusts of up to 120 km/h are possible in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms, and hurricane gusts of up to 140 km/h in some cases on the highest Alpine peaks.
