According to the police, the man who was killed pulled out a knife and attacked the officers. “An officer then fired a shot from his service weapon at the attacker,” said the investigators, according to the picture . The man died at the scene of the crime. The authorities did not say exactly where he was hit by the shot. For reasons of neutrality, colleagues and the public prosecutor’s office from neighboring Bonn took over the investigation.
