Package trouble? Not here! GLS messenger reacts to a tip with a wonderful note

When notification slips from parcel services end up on the Internet, the background is usually annoyance. The opposite is now the case with a particularly beautiful GLS note.

Oldenburg – Complaints keep piling up online after parcel couriers – in more than one sense – have not delivered properly. Not everyone shows the necessary understanding that parcel carriers have a pretty tough job. It’s all the nicer when just a small mishap makes you smile. Or even better: when someone shows a big heart.

Such an experience is now shared by a Twitter user from Oldenburg. And document it with two photos. One shows a so-called lightbox with the words “Psst! Hannah sleeps”, the other the reaction of a messenger (or a messenger?) From the service provider GLS.

The courier didn’t just notice that a child was sleeping in the apartment and didn’t ring the bell there. He was also looking for a good place to put it. AND took the time to leave a nice message.
