When notification slips from parcel services end up on the Internet, the background is usually annoyance. The opposite is now the case with a particularly beautiful GLS note.
Oldenburg – Complaints keep piling up online after parcel couriers – in more than one sense – have not delivered properly. Not everyone shows the necessary understanding that parcel carriers have a pretty tough job. It’s all the nicer when just a small mishap makes you smile. Or even better: when someone shows a big heart.
GLS parcel carrier responds to friendly advice
Such an experience is now shared by a Twitter user from Oldenburg. And document it with two photos. One shows a so-called lightbox with the words “Psst! Hannah sleeps”, the other the reaction of a messenger (or a messenger?) From the service provider GLS.

“Since our Lütte is still very jumpy, we put a sign on the front door,” writes the user. And is enthusiastic. “What can I say, GLS has delivered.” There were around 100 likes for the post in around one and a half days – or rather for the note that the messenger left.

Because it’s just wonderful. “Then we’ll let Hannah sleep peacefully too. Parcel by the lawnmower under the carport”, can be read there with a smiley. The courier didn’t just notice that a child was sleeping in the apartment and didn’t ring the bell there. He was also looking for a good place to put it. AND took the time to leave a nice message.
