For many, a decorated Christmas tree is simply a part of Christmas. A photo on Twitter with a Christmas ball causes laughter and disgusted reactions.
Munich – Christmas is just around the corner. So it is high time for many people to buy a Christmas tree and decorate it. While some hold the Christmas decorations quite traditional, others also have more unusual Christmas tree decorations. A picture on Twitter probably represents an increase from “failed”.
Christmas: Christmas tree decorations with a curious pasta note – “Christmas in Italy”
Pasta with tomato sauce. What sounds like a typical Italian pasta dish has made it into a Christmas tree ball. This shows a photo of a Twitter user. “Christmas in Italy”, commented author Jan Skudlarek on the picture that he put online.
“On top a little leaf of basil, then it’s pretty,” commented a user, apparently amused. Another wrote: “I would hang it on the tree unironically.” But this unusual Christmas tree ball could not really inspire everyone due to its content.
“Nothing against Christmas”: Opinions divided on crazy pasta Christmas tree balls
Some users commented on the post with emojis that were handed over. One user wrote: “Sorry, nothing against Christmas!” Another thought further and remarked: “Oh, I know how terrible it will look in a week.” The Christmas tree ball doesn’t look really appetizing.

Whether the Christmas tree ball really has something in common with “Christmas in Italy” is probably a matter of debate. It is not clear whether the ball is unique and a joke at the same time, or whether it occurs more often.
A Rewe customer made a real disgust. “Bääh diggah, I’m just eating,” was one of the disgusted comments. Whether a Christmas ball filled with pasta and sauce is the worse or the better choice is in the eye of the beholder. A real disgust incident also occurred in North Rhine-Westphalia, where a bus driver emptied the on-board toilet * on the street. (mbr) * tz.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
