People from Central Asian countries often faced racism in Russia. On social media, they are now joking about letting the Russians who have fled feel it too.
ARD correspondent Ina Ruck shares a video on Twitter of a young Kazakh reenacting an absurd scene: he pretends to be a landlord and says to someone looking for an apartment that he only takes Asian-looking people as tenants. However, this clip is not the only one. There are many videos on TikTok in which people from Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan in particular say how gloating they are towards Russians who are leaving the country due to partial mobilization.
