The Senate approves the elimination of daylight saving time

The plenary session of the Senate approved the minutes to issue the new Law on Time Zones, so summer time is eliminated, a measure that has been applied in Mexico since 1996.

Next Sunday, October 30, according to the law still in force, in most of the territory the clock must be set back one hour, since winter time begins. That will be the last time that change is made to the clocks.
