Prince Andrew has been making daily visits to Windsor Castle after dark since the settlement, according to insider reports. He secretly sought out this person.
Windsor – The disgraced Duke of York (62) is said to have been chauffeured every evening for the past few weeks to the person from whom he was allowed to promise help. Whether it was the requirement to finance the out-of-court settlement that he reached with plaintiff Virginia Giuffre (38) remains a mystery.
According to insiders, however, the prince was negotiating the terms of his future and the location of the British palace.
A palace insider told The Sun: “He [Prince Andrew*] knows there are photographers out during the day.” The second eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II* (95), who recently turned 62, was well advised to stay “out of sight”. Although the Royal Lodge, Andrew’s home, is also on the grounds of Windsor Castle*, it kept the accused duke under the radar for his secret meetings with the monarch of the British Empire.
For weeks he had been chauffeured to his mother every evening to discuss the comparison and the amount of a donation* that was initially not specified. Giuffre’s attorneys fought hard to get the lawsuit dropped in the alleged abuse of the then minors. The sum of 14.5 million euros is likely to have exceeded Andrew’s financial capabilities. The Queen had already helped her son financially from her private assets* in the lengthy legal dispute.
It may be a short drive from Queen Mum’s former home (101, † 2002) to Windsor Castle, but it wasn’t an easy walk. The prince was contrite and would have apologized to Her Majesty for all the trouble he caused her in the platinum anniversary year *, the insider reports. Andrew is also said to have apologized to his daughters, Princess Beatrice* (33) and Princess Eugenie* (31) for the crisis.
The royal family* is still preparing for a “revelation book”. * 24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
