Prince George has long been a huge football fan. Now the son of Duchess Kate and Prince William can even show his talent on the lawn himself.
London – The eldest son of Prince William (39) and Duchess Kate (40) is already being prepared for his life as the next but one heir to the throne of Great Britain, but of course Prince George (8) still pursues his usual hobbies. Like most boys his age, the junior royal is a big football fan and even plays in his school team*.

Duchess Kate* and Prince William try to raise their three offspring George, Charlotte (6) and Louis* (3) as down-to-earth as possible. Despite all the privileges that children enjoy as members of the British royal family*, they should know that their special living conditions cannot be taken for granted. For example, Mama Kate always makes sure that her offspring are not showered with gifts and spoiled all the time*.
It is also very important to the Cambridges to nurture the individual talents and interests of George, Charlotte and Louis. Charlotte*, for example, is very interested in horses and equestrian sports, while her youngest brother, who is three years old, is more into cars and tractors. Prince George* is in turn a huge football fan. For a long time now, he’s not just cheering on his favorite club in front of the television – the eight-year-old has since played football himself.

All Royal fans were able to see George’s enthusiasm for football * for themselves last summer. He was allowed to accompany his parents Kate and William to games of the English national team at the European Championship. In a partner look with Papa William* he cheered for his big idols from the stands.
Now the great-grandson of Queen Elizabeth* (95) regularly puts on the jersey himself. George is a member of his school’s soccer team. Prince William follows his son’s missions personally whenever possible – as befits a proud father.

Just a few days ago, pictures of George kicking around made the rounds on Twitter. Prince William* was also present at the game and even posed for a photo with his son’s opponents.
