Things are going well for William and Kate. Not only did they get new titles, but also a country estate that had been Princess Diana William’s childhood home since the days of Princess Diana.

Tetbury – Since the sad death of Queen Elizabeth II (96, † 2022), Prince William (40) and Princess Kate (40) have gained enormous popularity. During their inaugural visit to Wales, they were met with a real wave of enthusiasm, in which the two cute older children Prince George (9) and Princess Charlotte (7) also played their part. Father King Charles III proudly bequeathed. one of the most important and, above all, most beautiful estates owned by the royals: his country estate, Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, now belongs to the Cornwall and Cambridges.

Prince William follows in the footsteps of his childhood with Princess Diana

For Prince William, a piece of childhood is awakening again. In 1980, his father bought the fairytale mansion to reside there first with Princess Diana (36, † 1997), Prince William and Prince Harry. Charles later spent a lot of time with Camilla (74) in the stunning gardens that belong to the manor. Once before, William lived in Kensington Palace as his childhood home. He can now continue to indulge his childhood memories at the country estate of Highgrove House.

After separating and divorcing his first wife, Lady Di, Charles made some internal changes that were more to his liking and Camilla’s, but fond memories for William are likely to come alive. Apparently, Charles cannot separate completely: it is expected that the king will continue to spend time there. No wonder, since he invested a lot of time and knowledge in the design of the garden.

The property includes nine bedrooms, six bathrooms and four reception rooms. In addition to park-like areas and forests, there is also a 360-hectare farm, the Duchy Home Farm, which has been managed exclusively according to ecological principles since 1985, in accordance with the philosophy of life of the owner. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will be able to frolic among Aberdeen Angus cattle and sheep. By 2014, the farm was even delivering crates of vegetables.

For fans of the royal family, there is even a chance to meet William’s family on site. The gardens are of great importance to the former Prince of Wales. They have also been open to the public on select summer dates for over 25 years, with all proceeds going to charity. Or they meet while shopping in the next town, just as William’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth II was occasionally spotted around her country estates – and sometimes not recognized.
