Princess Beatrice gave birth to a little daughter three months ago. Now the royal mom reveals the cute nickname for baby Sienna.
LONDON – Beatrice von York (33) revealed a cute pet name for her daughter Sienna (3 months) in a handwritten thank you card. A Twitter user shared the note, which also includes a picture of the little royal’s footprints. Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo (38) have an unusual name for their daughter. *
Princess Beatrice: That’s what she calls her daughter Sienna
33-year-old Princess Beatrice * and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, welcomed their first child on September 18, 2021. The crowned offspring was born in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The new parents gave their child the sonorous name Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi * . In fact, the daughter of Sarah Ferguson * (62) and Prince Andrew * (61) uses a completely different funny name for her baby.
The signature on a thank you card revealed what the young parents really call their little Sienna. The caption read: “Thank you for thinking of us during this remarkable and special time. We are so thankful to welcome this little human into our family. She’s a little rock star! Love, Beatrice, Edo, Wolfie and Sienna”.
Princess Beatrice: Doesn’t need the Queen’s approval for the nickname
The little rock star’s official name was not officially announced until two weeks after the birth. Presumably, Queen Elizabeth II * (95) had to be asked for her opinion first. It is a tradition for British royals to ask the monarch for her approval. Princess Beatrice herself would have had a different name * if her parents had had their way.

Duchess Meghan * (40) and Prince Harry * (37) also had to endure unfriendly press reviews because rumors said they had not involved Elizabeth II in choosing the name for her daughter Lilibet Diana * (7 months).
Beatrice and Edoardo have yet to release a picture of their daughter, but the proud grandmother, Sarah, Duchess of York, described her as “very, very beautiful”. As Her Majesty’s twelfth great-grandchild, she is currently 11th in line to the throne. *24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
