London – Queen Elizabeth II (95) has only had to cancel a few appointments in her 69-year reign, but the worrying news from the palace has been increasing in recent weeks. Her rest period, medically ordered at the end of October, should actually only last two weeks, as reported by 24royal.de *, her ailing health still keeps the British monarch from her royal duties.
Queen Elizabeth II withdraws: is she taking longer than expected?

The senior royals around Prince Charles * (73), Prince William * (39) & Co. are taking on more and more tasks in the service of the crown to relieve the head of the royal family. No further public appearances are planned until the end of this year, and appointments are to be canceled in the months thereafter. According to a palace insider, the senior royals currently holding the position should welcome this decision: “The senior members of the family all agree that they should step in to help wherever they can and for as long as necessary. “
