Queen Silvia of Sweden: Palast gives update on her health

Queen Silvia’s serious fall was several months ago. The royal family reveals how she is currently doing in a new statement.

Stockholm – Queen Silvia (77) is still feeling the consequences of her accident. In mid-February she was thrown at Drottningholm Palace and taken to the hospital, and concern about the Swedish regent has been great ever since.

Queen Silvia broke her right wrist when she fell. She now has to experience firsthand that this is not to be trifled with. Shortly after the fall, it was suspected that Silvia was facing months of recovery. Only two weeks after the painful incident, the wife of King Carl XVI returned. Gustaf (75) returned to her royal duties, but she looked a little battered. During the subsequent virtual appointments, Silvia cleverly hid her cast and bandage on her right hand, but the opposite was the case at Carl Gustaf’s birthday party on April 30th.

The monarch and his wife celebrated his 75th birthday in Stockholm Palace. Queen Silvia was in a good mood when the birthday boy accepted his presents. There was no support or plaster of paris on her right hand. Silvia’s state of health has apparently improved *, press spokeswoman Margareta Thorgren also confirmed to “Svensk Damtidning”: “The queen trains and reinserts her wrist and it goes in the right direction.” * 24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA .
