Recover without a QR code: In the vacuum of the corona bureaucracy

A reporter from Bopfingen in the Ostalb district has more than twice the antibody volume of a vaccinated person. A vaccination is therefore problematic, but it is no longer considered recovered.

Corona causes trouble, also bureaucratic. SchwäPo * reporter Michael Scheidle experiences this firsthand. Somehow the Bopfinger falls through all the grids in the pandemic. The Ostalbkreis district office confirmed to him on June 8, 2021 that he had recovered – with the advice that another antibody test should be carried out after six months so that he would continue to be considered recovered.

The result of this test: it has almost two and a half times the antibody volume of a vaccinated person. Nevertheless, the “recovery certificate” could not be issued for him because his positive PCR test was more than half a year ago. A dilemma: because as a certificate confirms, it should not be vaccinated either. The Schwäbische Post knows what problematic consequences this has for him – also professionally – and how a member of the Bundestag assesses the problem. *
