Hamburg restaurateurs from Altona are allowed to serve further outside, while restaurants in Mitte have to go into limited winter operation.
Hamburg – The corona pandemic seems to be over so slowly, but it still has an impact on everyday life. Restaurateurs in particular can sing a song about it.
24hamburg.de reveals here why outdoor gastronomy is allowed to continue in Altona and is severely restricted in Hamburg Mitte.
From October 31, restaurants in Mitte will no longer be allowed to use surrounding parking lots and delivery zones as serving areas. This exemption was introduced during the corona pandemic in order to be able to serve more guests and thus counteract the loss of sales. This regulation is now expiring for Mitte, but in Altona it was extended until December 31st.
