Ricardo Montaner reveals his most spiritual side with a song of Faith

With 11 tracks totally dedicated to God, Montaner presents the first album of adoration of God. In this he had the participation of his daughter Evaluna and Camilo. The album will be presented on June 12 in concert.

28 years ago, Ricardo Montaner owed God, his audience and himself, an album where he showed his spirituality and gratitude. Although it took a while, he finally dedicated the music to what he considers must be the greatest tributes: God. This is “Fe”, a work made up of 11 tracks, performed by one of the icons of the ballad. Some of the songs, such as “Dios lo lo lo lo”, were performed with Juan Luis Guerra and “Amen”, the first song in which he sings with his entire family.

Montaner assured: ” I feel that I should dedicate a complete album to God with which I could expose what I feel, express this imperfection of the person that I am .” The album, which unlike others he has composed with his guitar, came out spontaneously and featured the composition of Camilo and Evaluna and the co-production of music greats such as: Dario Moscatelli, Richi Lopez, Julio Reyes Copello, Yasmil Marrufo and JonTheProduce. In this new release, a new version of “The Glory of God”, sung by Evaluna Montaner accompanied by the Prague Symphony Orchestra, brings the surprise.

Although this is the first album completely dedicated to God, the artist throughout his career has demonstrated his beliefs, as has the rest of his family. His first religious song was “La gloria de Dios”, which he later recorded as a duet with his daughter and included in “Frequent Traveler”, his 2012 album. Later he released “Su luz” in 2014, which was part of “Agradecido”, where for the first time he included compositions with his younger children Mau and Ricky.

Ever since Montaner felt God’s call, he has tried to respond to it with action. “I liked going to children’s hospitals or foundations with my guitar and playing to them. every time I entered the church I could not imagine myself being such a direct son of God. It was little by little, until I realized that I had nothing to find out, that I wanted to give my heart to Jesus ”.

Remember that when he released “Dios lo lo lo”, at first it sounded more like a ballad, but later with the arrangements in post-production, it acquired bachata and Caribbean tinges , hence he thought of sending the proposal to the Dominican, Juan Luis Guerra.

If something characterizes this proposal, it is that each of the tracks is visual, a risk never taken before, but it is a way to reach all types of public. In addition to the premiere of his album, Ricardo is preparing for the first concert that he will give next to his family: Evaluna, Mau and Ricky and Camilo where everyone will sing their hits for the first and only time for everyone from Altos de Chavón on Saturday June 12.
